Hello Tess and Amelia,
Thank you again so much for a wonderful experience getting to know you and your land. Angus, Nina and I had a wonderful time, Nina is presenting the story at news tomorrow at school and has lots to tell.
Tess, it made me feel very happy talking to you, your insight was very meaningful to me and I have thought about our conversations over and over again already. I know those conversations will stay with me and have indeed changed me. I talked about our conversations in my lectures yesterday in Darwin and your ideas were warmly appreciated. I feel very privileged to have met you and hope our paths cross again. As we discussed I admire your courage in parenting as well, another area we have in common.
Attached is a really nice photo of you and Amelia. I will email you others in a smaller format as well. If I add more on this email it will not go through because the images are so large. “Your Place” is a piece of paradise as I know you are aware, it is very generous of you to share that with strangers, your tour makes great friends out of strangers, congratulations and best of luck to you.
You remind me of one of my favourite Irish sayings (my family are from Ireland originally)
“When I count my blessings, I count you twice” .

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Tess for showing us the sites of Litchfield and for making us feel like one of her ‘friends’. Tess, you were so lovely and so down to earth and I must say the lunch you cooked us (baramundi) was absolutely wonderful. Scott and I did your tour on Monday 8 August and we both enjoyed the day immensely. You should be confident and proud to show off your land. Absolutely stunning! xxx

Just thought I’d give you a little e mail to let you both know that Leisa and myself had a really good day with your Mob last Saturday on your tour…Love your end of the country truly amazing experience….I will recommend you to people I know here in Cairns heading your way….
You have also given me more of a push towards my own business plans……So I’ll keep you informed and hopefully see you up in your Chopper next time up your way..

Jacqui and I would like to thank you very much for the enjoyable time she had on your tours on 7 and 8 June last.
The reports to me were full of praise and appreciation for your conduct of these tours. Jacqui is especially pleased that you proceeded with only a minimum number of clients. This made each tour a personal affair and proved to be very educational, interesting and enjoyable. Jacqui continues to carry many fond memories as result of meeting you.
We have sent a letter of commendation to the President of Tourism Top End acknowledging the great time Jacqui had with you.

None of us really knew what to expect and we were happy to leave it all to you. To our delight, we found the day informative, interesting and enjoyable. You gave the right amount of information, not over the top, enough to get our interest and attention. You delivered the information confidently and your willingness to answer questions was terrific. The setting for lunch was lovely. It was great to meet your family. Young Thomas appreciated the company of your son. I think he gets a bit ‘over’ hanging with adults. So thankyou from all of us. Hi Tess,
Just wanted to say thanks again for an awesome day in Litchfield. Your knowledge of the land and openess to discuss the issues faced by the people of your community made for quite an eye openning experience. Not to mention the food, I’m still raving to people about the bush cook up of Barramundi and Roo!! I know Nali had a great time swimming in the creek and taking in the amazing scenery. Hopefully I’ll be up again later in the year to get another taste of the Northern Territory :)
